- Sign up. Every account starts on the $10 trial, and migrations are included.
- Open a support ticket with the domains you want moved and the CDN you’d like for each. Open one here.
- Send us access. Our team will ask for your old host’s login details or a backup of the site.
- We migrate. Each site is copied onto LaunchCDN behind your chosen CDN, with free SSL, without touching the live copy.
- Check the new copy using the CDN Bypass Details in your dashboard (here’s how).
- Switch the name servers at your registrar when you’re happy. No data loss and no downtime.
Migration Questions
Is the migration really free?
Yes. Free migrations are included with every plan, including the $10 trial. There’s no per-site fee and no cap on the number of sites we’ll move.
How long does a migration take?
Single sites are usually done within a few hours. Larger networks are staged over a few days depending on size, and we can work around your timezone.
Will my sites go down during the migration?
No. Your sites stay live on your old host while we work. Once the new copies are ready, you check them and switch the name servers at your own pace.
What do you need from me?
The list of domains, plus either login details for your old host (cPanel, DirectAdmin, Plesk or similar) or a backup of each site: the files and a database export.
Can you migrate from a dead or unresponsive host?
Often, yes, if you have recent backups. Send us what you have and we’ll tell you if anything is missing before we start.
Do migrated sites use my plan’s domain slots?
Yes. Each migrated domain is a site on your plan like any other. If you’re moving a big network, start on the trial and upgrade with Change Plan when you need more slots.
